Are All Cats Nocturnal?

I have a cat called Rodders and he is extremely naughty. He has done many cheeky things in his 15 years of life. Some of the things that he has done our jumping out of the window, being given a pyramid and sitting in the box that came with it instead of actually going in it and sleeping under the bed. So last night he decided to sleep on one of the chairs ( thanks Rodney. ) So last night he decided to stop being nocturnal as he slept for the majority of the night.
